With all these “2010” information you could forget that most customers are still running earlier versions. For people running ForeFront Security for Exchange SP2, Rollup 1 was released yesterday. Besides a new parameter (called feature) for enabling of disabling FSE on a cluster node, RU1 contains no less than 30 hotfixes. For a list of fixes, consult the related knowledgebase article here. One of the issue is “Forefront Security for Exchange may consume too much memory, which may require a restart of Exchange services” and it is still not resolved i don’t know what is Microsoft doing on this problem same symptoms found on Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange
Could you explain? The fix mentioned is focused on a memory leak which is something else that ForeFront requiring a lot of resources in general (if I understand your comment correctly). ForeFront is resource intensive, but that was already the case when it was still called Antigen.
